Too bad this tool looks good and feels hard/heavy and works well with a ratchet. But it doesn't work well. It felt good after crimping, but that's where the good ends. I did a pull test and the wire came out! Pretty easy too. I figured it might be my fault or a bad terminal. So I crimped again with a different clamp. Same problem. I tried 4 more times with a combination of clamps and different size wires and each time I managed to get the wire out. I didn't even try very hard. The jaws are not lowered enough and there is a significant gap in full crimp position even when you make adjustments. I don't want the disconnected wires to cause a fire (I'm using 220 volt three-phase motors in my current project) and need to reinstall this for my own safety. Even though I read the bad reviews I saw the good reviews and took a chance. And I made the mistake of buying it.
