I renovate homes, leaving the heavy lifting to the contractors, but I always have my tool box ready for the small odd jobs. I am SO disappointed in this took kit. The Philips head screwdrivers seem to be soft. they have metal shards on them, rarely work and the points are worn down. The wrench's don't fit the standard size nut for tightening. I had bought an old toolkit from a pawnshop until mine old one got stolen, I was not happy to spend money, but this one is way better than my old one (and crazily safeguarding it). I have perform works in my apartment for repairs on stove circuit board, switch for ceiling fans, and connecting new furniture. The only problem, the material can break working on heavy machinery, focus on the metallurgy material for specific equipment.

The case is nice and has everything i would need to fix things around the house or even my car. The only grip i might have it somethings a tool or 2 comes look from the space it is in but other then that it is a great set to get.

This is a decent little kit for occasional use. It's a lot of pieces. But don't expect to use it for anything heavy-duty. For example, the hammer is not only "baby sized", it's also hollow handle. Mine broke while I was pulling a nail out and it gave me a nasty and slightly bloody scratch. The screwdriver bits aren't going to last long.Also, it's only metric, as one other reviewer noted. Buy yourself a real hammer. And also, you need at least 1 good pair of vice grips.

Great tool assortment for basic around the house repair jobs. Easy to find the tool you need upon opening the case, and storage of tools when done with a task, easily goes back in the case. Medium quality tools seem to work well for light applications.

However, the wrenches, sockets, and hex keys that are included are only metrics sizes. You really need both metric and standard to be able to handle basic tasks. Other than that, it's also notably missing a pair of vice grips -- which are important for basic home repairs.

The quality is nothing to get excited about but they will work for basic simple repairs or assembly. Later you will probably get some better ones for stuff you use a lot but these will work for now and sometimes just having the right size of wrench is super important.
