I bought this for my 14 year old calico kitten who I adopted a few years ago. She's quite a creature of habit. While my other Calico has about 20 different beds, Chloe usually stays in her bed - that's all. I thought maybe I would try that to make a difference for her, to give her another option. He lay there for several days, she didn't seem to show any interest in him, and then suddenly started using him a little. Now she's pretty much given up her other bed for this one. She loves it! Especially since it's covered but at the same time open enough that she can see and doesn't feel cooped up, unlike other cat igloo beds. It's pretty soft and durable, keeps its shape. I might even buy her another one. Definitely recommend.
