You can't connect more than two or they won't work

The cord on them is very long and great for getting to the designated outlet. These are shorter meteor fires in both filament length and light length. We ordered more strands to connect because there is a plug for it at the end. They are bright white and work well. I have ordered three. The first two work when connected, but the third doesn't. Disappointing as I needed more length so deducted a star.
