What I don't know is if the standard Yeti X GHub gets WOW sound profiles. If not, it might be worth the extra cash if you want to use it in D&D as a player or GM, for example. Really adds the "WOW" factor, especially if you're not as good with accents/vocal changes as I am. Aesthetics WOW (runes on a stand, rune-shaped LEDs). You really have to be a WOW enthusiast, which I'm not, so I'd settle for a standard Yeti X, preferably all black. Feature wise this is a great mic, very well built. There should be an XLR 3 bypass, but this mic is 100% digital. I also don't like that it's Micro USB instead of USB-C. it really should be. Finally, the Micro USB connector is very close to the 3/4 inch mounting hole. Therefore, when installing, pay close attention to the distance for the USB port and 3.5mm when using it. It's very easy to flip and damage (something I almost did to my Rode PSA1 bars before the shock came).
