Although they are nice strips, the one I adjusted seems pretty big to me. With the mesh strap, the part of the strap that doubles on the back goes straight out to the side of the watch, so I'm basically wearing a double-thick strap. They were easy enough to install, but the hook on the mesh strap breaks nails, doesn't open easily, and is quite awkward to close with all that extra tape wrapping around. I haven't adjusted the other band yet to see how it fits, but will soon. I suppose unless your wrist is very small and you don't have a lot of bandages a mesh band would be fine. My wrist measures 5.25 inches. ADDED 3/3 - The non-mesh strap with a large clasp does not allow enough links to be removed to fit my wrist. Even though we removed 5 links, they were still too big.
