This 130 liter per day unit really saves energy! I had two disposable units that each produced 70 pints a day. Each unit drew 7.9 amps and ran 24/7 because it couldn't handle the humidity in my basement. These two units failed after 3 years and were recalled as incendiary. This Alorair unit only draws 5.6 amps and the humidity in my basement has dropped to 50% in 2 days. The device then began to cycle on and off as needed. 4 stars because I couldn't figure out how to set up WiFi to communicate with the iPhone app. Others have also mentioned this problem. You have to call the hotline. :-(
