UPDATE - The seller contacted me after the item was delivered to check how the product would fit and work for my needs. I gave an honest answer and they did everything they could to make sure this product worked. Linda helped with the replacement and since I installed the replacement I haven't had any issues with the mount, it stayed in place and I was able to use it without fear of it coming loose. This product works well for my iPhone with pop socket and additionally for another phone if needed. The extra adhesive pad to stick on the dashboard works wonders, you need to leave the 3M pad on it for about 12-24 hours before sticking the installed adhesive pad to make it stick well. With added 3M padding - I feel this product outweighs the most as it doesn't offer any additional support. Not sure if it's just AZ heat melting the glue, but what a nightmare to get stuck on the dash. It's also very annoying that the release is only on the left side, I'm right-handed, it would be more logical on the right or both sides.
