I am so pleasantly surprised by these little drawers! I was just looking for something inexpensive to store my loose makeup (eyeliner, powder compacts, eyeshadow, etc.) in a wire basket in my closet so things don't slide around the room. A set of two 6.5" x 7.25" containers turned out to be just the right size for my needs, so I ordered them with rather low expectations. I couldn't be happier with them! The sides are made of non-woven fabric (think reusable grocery bags sold at the checkout for $0.50) covering a very strong internal structure. Seems stiffer than cardboard, so maybe plastic? Whatever it was, it exceeded all of my expectations. Once you open the sides there is an insert at the bottom of the basket to make everything rigid. The liner even has a small protrusion to easily pull it out again when you want to fold the bin back down. Our family is now organizing and I look forward to buying more of these bins in different layouts for other needs around the home.
