Check installation depth before purchasing

The magnets on these speakers are solid, so check installation depth before purchasing. They made contact with the trunk torsion bars when they were installed in the back of my evo 8. I only used 1/2 inch speaker rings to make them fit. They sound great too, as does their subwoofer (these are the first massive audio "speakers"). I used) I can only imagine how good they will be when I buy an amp.
