Large compact boombox that plays CDs, cassettes and USB sticks/flash drives as well as AM/FM radio. Also easily converts cassettes to USB. Comes with an AC adapter cord or you can use 6 9V batteries. This boom box came in really handy when we were threatened with no power in a hurricane. As this can drain the batteries we were able to listen to local radio stations for any weather updates. The player also features SIX headphone jacks, making it perfect for classroom use. The main reason for choosing this device was the USB conversion function. We had a couple of tapes from the 1970's that our family used to text each other that we didn't want to lose. Now they are safely converted into digital files that we can easily share and store. The sound is really very good, not outstanding, but very good for a compact stereo system. It even comes with a little remote control!
