This product performed well for a year, I liked that it was soft enough that my son (who moves a lot in his sleep) didn't bump into it and hurt himself. I should have seen red flags even though this item is NOT applied to anything, it was always moving under the covers but I never thought it could be dangerous. One night the bumper moved off the top of the mattress until it was next to it but UNDER the sheet. It usually stopped when I put my son to bed but somehow it happened after my son fell asleep by fidgeting etc. Anyway my 3 year old son woke up at night and was standing on his bed but thought the bumper was on Part of the mattress, he fell on it and fell headfirst into the bedside table and needed stitches! He better roll out of bed! It's damned and I'm throwing it in the trash! I will never use again.
