My daughter has ADHD and has problems with time management. We've tried implementing planning charts and things like that, and I've made the tasks she needs to do "time consuming" rather than sequential. For some reason she really struggles with analog watches. I needed something digital and fairly straightforward. This watch is perfect! It's digital, so the box is ticked pretty emphatically. The numbers are HUGE too. This is another bonus. She likes the mirrored finish and thinks it all looks "cool and modern". Brightness can be a blessing or a curse, but either way, it's up to you. If you make it bright enough, it's a great night light if you need it for a younger child or an overnight visitor. Of course you can also switch it off. We haven't used it as an alarm clock (yet), but the controls are very convenient and intuitive. For the price the watch is fantastic.
