Nice and thick - iron and steam iron
The pad is nice and thick and was easy to attach. Velcro straps to attach under the ironing board were a good idea in theory, but I was only able to use the straps on the underside of the pad as the ones on the top of the board, when buckled in place, didn't allow the ironing board to roll up. board so I can save it. I just tucked them under the carpet to keep them from dangling.
