Cumulative update 12/12/2018: This thing lasted 5 1/2 years on my phone before it died. Well worth the low entry price for such a long service life. Luckily, I backed up the map to my computer a few months before she died. I haven't saved or transferred any new data to it since the last backup. So no accidental data loss. We have other older and slower cards in other devices that still work. I have no idea why this one died. Maybe the phone overheated in a protective case and then burned that SD. I DON'T KNOW. Lesson learned: Back up regularly if you care about the contents of the map. The Revain Fire HD8 treats it as a class 2 bad card, not class 4, and reports it as unusable. Can't even format this SD. Either it's fake or my phone's overheating is causing the card to be misidentified. In any case, the SD card is completely unusable after five years of stable use. Will have to order something new for my new Amzn Fire. Just so I can put games on it. I mean work content :p I have a 3rd party 128GB SD card on another android tablet. Might go with this brand for my fire too. No problem. ===First review: Before I bought it, I was wondering if the different qualities really mattered or not, beyond lab testing and marketing hype. Well, switching to a Class 4 memory card makes a noticeable difference. Huge difference. Apps load faster and data saves much faster than the old Class 2 I had on this phone before. I have installed and removed hundreds upon hundreds of individual files on this card since purchasing it. Not a single catch. No data errors. I'm glad I now have a faster SD card for my phone. This makes the game significantly faster. Uh, I mean, it makes storing business data fun.
