Cumulative update 12/12/2018: This thing lasted 5 1/2 years on my phone before it died. Well worth the low entry price for such a long service life. Luckily, I backed up the map to my computer a few months before she died. I haven't saved or transferred any new data to it since the last backup. So no accidental data loss.
