daughter loves this!

My four year old daughter got this for Christmas and she loves it. It's very easy to use, she can install it in her DVD player herself and easily change hands when she wants to play another game. The only problem I had was getting it to work with one of our DVD players. None of the passcodes work for our Sony DVD/VCR combo and when I use manual search it turns off the TV but nothing with the DVD player. Luckily we have two players!

Great educational toy, your kid will love it.

My son loves this toy even though he's too young to play, he's 2 years old. It's really listed as 3 and up, but it's ok, I don't regret buying it. He still enjoys watching cartoons as well as his shows and still going crazy with desire to play this game. It's a game that babies grow up with. Good investment and very easy to connect. I suggest getting an extra joystick, it only comes with one and one power supply, otherwise you will spend a fortune on batteries.

PIECE OF SHIT good for baby electronics

We got last Christmas for my now 3 year old. I was very excited about this but when I tried to set it up on our RCA DVD player it didn't work. I tried the codes and the manual method but it just didn't work. I assumed my DVD player was one of those multifunctional devices, as well as a VCR, radio, etc. So I put the toy away until March of this year when we gave her a Disney Princess DVD player for my daughter's birthday and watch TV. I was hooked again and AGAIN neither the codes nor the manual

Not very interesting

My 2.5 year old was more interested in playing with the controller, inserting and removing the card and touching the TV screen to give the right answers. It was so difficult to program our DVD players in our house. None of them worked with him. After waiting for Monday (Saturday morning) to call the Fisher-Price Customer Service Center (open only Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm) I was told to receive the new controller they sent me without having to send the old one back. . As it was just…

Waste Of Money Best in Personal Video Players and Accessories

Very disappointing. Like everyone else, we had problems programming the controls. Most of the codes listed for our Philips DVD player do not work. I couldn't get any of the codes to recognize space A which I believe is number 1 on the remote and now sit down with them and press number 1 on the DVD remote when needed. But the game is still sporadic at best. In the middle of the question he suddenly changes the programs. And don't just start a new program, go to the middle of another program. He…

Please note that this system does not work with all DVD players. I have a DVD-VCR combo system and IT'S NOT WORKING! I thought my 4 year old would love this as he loves playing the games that are on his DVD. However, I couldn't get it to work with our system. I called the Mattel hotline number listed in the owner's manual and was told that due to the volume of calls I was unable to get help and could not call back. The call was ended by Mattel. I sought help on the website and went through many

Shouldn't even be on the market!

It's Christmas morning and I've just spent 2 hours getting at least ONE of our DVD players to work with this item I ordered from Revain. Our Go Video DVD player/recorder (less than 4 months old) does not work at all. No Toshiba either. The $300 Samsung DVD-HD931 works except for the "A" key. That means only 8 out of 9 buttons work. The thing is worth nothing! [.] I now have two 4-year-old boys who keep asking dad when they can play SpongeBob. Thank you [.] for putting me in this situation and…

They love it! to Personal Video Players & Accessories

This is one of those rainy day toys. Kids don't play with it every day, but when they do, they love it. We hooked it up to four different DVD players around the house and never had a problem getting it to work. Children usually use it with the TV in the bedroom. They're sitting across the room in bed. I'm surprised it works from there because of the blades and the angle of the DVD player where they are, but it works; and sometimes when they get into trouble, they just try to move the sheets out

Fisher-Price knew the quality problem!

The DVD in the InteracTV main box was defective. I couldn't get the DVD to play more than one picture on any of the 6 DVD players in the house. I continued programming without even using a test card. When I inserted another InteracTV DVD, I found that the remote worked fine. I noticed something very interesting on the packaging that led me to believe that Fisher-Price was aware of the quality issue before these products were released. The two books I bought separately had a small gap in their…
