This is a really beautiful wooden set and checks all the boxes for me. The pieces are are a good size and easy to use/move. The board/case is solid and includes a secure area to keep the pieces in place while its closed. My set included 2 extra pieces for each color, which is a really nice touch. The included dice are really nice looking and the cups are actual wood too. Its a joy to look at and play, and for under $70 too! Great set for anyone who loves backgammon.

This is a beautiful, high-quality wood set. The size is not overly large and it isn’t heavy. The pieces are a little on the small side but for us, that isn’t a big deal. Overall, very happy with this purchase! It was a gift for my husband and he was thrilled.

This game is gorgeous in terms of build quality. The board made to be look like a wood with a nice pattern, checkers are wooden as well but with a different structure. It has a leather cups for dices, and dices itself are of very good quality. There are multiple spare checkers of each color. The board uses magnets so no ugly mechanical locks.I would say it's more of a great gift to someone, rather that say game that you take to camp or something.

This is a very attractive wood backgammon set. It comes in a velour bag for storage. There’s also a velour bag for the dice boxes. Though the boxes are slightly smaller than what I normally use, as are the dice. But this way they fit inside the board, when the board is closed. There are small magnets to keep the board closed. This backgammon board arrived carefully packaged to avoid any damage. Part of the packaging is the brown felt-like storage bag. That will protect the wood from scratches or even from slow degradation of the colors of the inlay from UV radiation. The inlay on both the outside and the inside are very nicely done.The dice and the dice shakers are not up to the standard of the board. This is easily the nicest backgammon board I've ever owned. I've had many over the decades, but this one is way better than all of them. The woodwork is beautiful, the chips are nicely made of wood, and even the dice and doubling cube are nicer than any I've seen. I got the biggest one that is "tournament size" and it is a big board, but not so big to be a pain to store.To top it off, it comes with a dust/scratch protective bag. Very nice board, indeed! Very good size game board and wooden checkers are good. It would have been better if I could have won the first game. The wooden chips may easily become chipped or broken with use.

Gift for my hubby. He loved it. Great craftsmanship and comfortable size (19 inch) Just wish it had a handle to make easier to carry but that’s me being picky 😊. Would buy it again.

Everything is high quality made only downside is the places where you store the peices after use dont have enough room to store the last peice of each players peices so you have to store them outside of it
