Description of Get Ready To Conquer The Throne With Reign – The Ultimate Battle Royale Board Game For The Whole Family - Suitable For Ages 8 And Up

SET UP YORU WAY—When you place your faction members (pawns) on the game board, will you spread them out evenly, position them strategically to attack, or place them where you can collect the most power stones to help you as you battle?. REMOVE SECTIONS OF THE GAME BOARD AS YOU PLAY—As the game goes on, pieces of the game board are randomly removed, so any pawns you have left on that section are lost! Do you sacrifice your weakest faction members or rush to save them all?. RACE TO THE CENTER TO SURVIVE—As you move, battle other players and fight to get to the middle of the board, where the last one standing wins!. GREAT FOR YOUNG PLAYERS OR INTERGENERATIONAL PLAY—An exciting game where kids and families can have fun together, using a little or a lot of strategy to win!. A DIFFERENT GANE EACH TIME YOU PLAY—With a different setup each time, every game turns out differently! For 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up

Fun for the Whole Family!

The 24 Power Stones alone are worth the price, they are Gorgeous! Dozens of fun figurines and very Easy to play, even the little kids can play along but they get very upset when they don't win, but so does my Big Guy! We changed the rules a little and let everyone play until there is one undisputed Winner! All the figurines get played with on a daily basis and make this purchase a very good deal for the family! Makes an Awesome Birthday gift for most kids! Very Cool game and the Power stones…

Pros
  • Games & Accessories
Cons
  • Limited replay value once players have mastered the game mechanics

Good game, but directions are confusing.

We received Reign-- The Final Battle Royale Strategy Game for Kids and Families in exchange for this review. We found this game to be fun once we learned how to play. The included directions, though, were somewhat lacking and vague.so we went to the internet to see if there were any clearer explanations to make sure we were playing it right. (We were for most aspects, but the more nuanced explanations we found on a board game sight were helpful!)

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • May require a lot of physical space to set up the game board and accessories

Great addition to family game night

I got this game for my husband and son. This game is fun to play and to look at.The soldiers are very detailed, well made and of good quality. They are made of a soft rubber lite material, they look durable. The dice are very colorful and the diamonds are shiny and attractive. The board is well made, great art and fit perfectly.I love that they all fit nicely in their box tray, very well organized.Overall an awesome game at a fair price.

Pros
  • Lots of game pieces for such a low price. Fun
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other board games on the market

A Wonderfully Simple and Silly Game

For the money, this game is worth it just for the components. Lots of miniatures! It's about the most simple and stupid battle royale game you could want. But therein lies the joy. Accept what you have and the game becomes hilarious. The rules are simple enough that my six year old quicky was able to grasp them and play. Everybody runs for the center of the board as the rest of the board disappears. Then it just devolves into king of the mountain. Don't come to this game for deep strategy and…

Pros
  • RACE TO THE CENTER TO SURVIVE—As you move, battle other players and fight to get to the middle of the board, where the last one standing wins!
Cons
  • Too many rules to keep track of, making it difficult for younger players to follow along

Fun way to introduce children to combative board games

Very fun and quick to pick up and play. I play this with my 4 and 5 year olds. Before the first session was out my 5 year old understood the rules and objectives well enough to only need some minor coaching on tactics. The only, and I do mean only, negative I have is that one faction (samurai) has far more "bendy" swords and look out of place compared to the other figurines. The pieces are good quality otherwise. Well worth the money for a game that will be played often

Pros
  • Suitable for ages 8 and up, it's perfect for kids and adults alike.
Cons
  • Too reliant on luck, making strategy less important in gameplay

Very Open-Ended best in my review

This is an excellent gift for a bright kid because it can be morphed and improved in so many ways. the components are amazing quality for the price. Just work with the kid on changing and improving the rules.

Pros
  • It's a great way to bond with your family and friends.
Cons
  • Not suitable for players who have trouble with visual processing

Fun alternative to video games

This game set comes with a bunch of miniatures and a cool board. Easy to learn for beginners and it doesn't take all day to play out a game.General rules and play are both straightforward and a bit derivative.Good quality board, pieces and box given the value it is offered at.Fun for family and/or friends.

Pros
  • Bought to use in upcoming shop. Great condition, great value, great product
Cons
  • May not be suitable for younger children under the age of 8

A lot of fun for my kids

Pretty fun game, that is easy to learn. A good mix of both strategy and luck. I like how it's fairly unique compared to what I already had. Comes with a lot of cool extras and figures, though the swords on some of the figures are quite bent. Short enough to not get boring for those with short attention spans.

Pros
  • It promotes healthy competition and sportsmanship.
Cons
  • Not suitable for players who have limited understanding of English language

Tactics light, fun heavy. Great intro for kids.

There are not a lot of tactics in this game but that is also not the point of the game. This is board game/strategy game introduction for kids as young as 8. While adults may find it lacking in depth, kids will be glad to be included in some big person type dynamics. The board itself is simple but the miniatures are a step up from standard fare. There are enough varying components to keep kids interested and feeling like they are playing an adult board game. If you are a board gamer and want to

Pros
  • It's a great way to introduce kids to the world of board games.
Cons
  • May not have a wide appeal and may only be enjoyed by a niche audience

good for kids/families

Our 10 year old loves this game. It has some good strategy in it for his age. The concept is actually pretty cool. You place your figures around the board and then try to fight your way to the center as the pieces of the map randomly fall off. When two adults who are experienced at board games play this there is not enough strategy to keep interesting. But I enjoy playing it with the kids. There is a card that has a different symbol on it than the map tile. That seems like a pretty huge thing…

Pros
  • With customizable game modes, no two games are alike.
Cons
  • May not be challenging enough for more experienced board game players

More fun than expected!

My son was super excited to get this game, but I wasn’t so sure Id like it. Turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought it would be! The hardest part for us is keeping track of the countdown :D This game is one of our favorites! Tip- have your next placement for gems and figures ready for your next turn. It helps the game move faster

Pros
  • The game is designed to encourage teamwork and strategic thinking.
Cons
  • Can be too violent or intense for some players

Great Introduction for Kids

This is a fun and easy to understand game that is fun for kids and adults. It takes around 10 minutes to explain and the rules are fairly easy to remember though the instructions could use a bit of work. Once you play the first time, it is easy to remember how without going back to the rules. The board is good quality and the pieces are well made and durable and the quality definitely exceeds the price point.

Pros
  • Its compact size makes it easy to take with you on trips.
Cons
  • Can be unsuitable for players who prefer games with a narrative or story arc

Board Gamer Collector - Blown Away

For Reign, I couldn’t believe how good this game really is. As an average board gamer and miniatures collector, I can’t wait to introduce this game to my grandkids. This is a great entry game for kids and adults for a couple of reasons. 1 the rules are short, sweet, and to the point. 2 the game is relatively fast - where you can play in under 30 minutes. 3 there is light strategy play, letting younger players have a chance to win as dice play a big part in the game. The miniatures, for the…

Pros
  • Its gameplay is fast-paced and exciting, keeping players engaged until the very end.
Cons
  • Can take up too much time and energy to set up and play

The components of the game are quite nice, especially for a game with such a low selling price. The cardstock is nice and the printing looks good. There are tons of plastic minis and the cardboard on the game board pieces is heavy and the board pieces fit together well. The gameplay is very much like a more family friendly version of the first person shooter video game PUBG. The game still involves killing other characters on the board. so not something a lot of parents will want their kids to…

Pros
  • The game is perfect for game nights with friends.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find players who are willing to invest the time and effort to learn the game

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Simple gameplay for my opinion

Well built simple design, very easy to learn. My 2 sons (10 & 12) had fun setting it up with a neighbor. Not complex enough to make repeat playing interesting, there is basically a singular strategy to win.

Pros
  • The game can be adapted to suit different skill levels.
Cons
  • Instructions can be unclear and difficult to follow, leading to confusion and frustration

I received Reign: the Final Battle Royale specifically to write a review. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews.(Please see the enclosed video and pictures.)Summary: Reign: the Final Battle Royale is a light miniatures game for 2-4 players that takes about 30 minutes for ages 8+. The game is distributed by Play Monster. The board is comprised of seven pieces, overlayed with a hex pattern for movement. Each turn is recorded on a time tracker. On specific turns, one of the…

Pros
  • Each game is an epic adventure, full of suspense and strategy.
Cons
  • Takes up a lot of storage space

Unique twist on survival board game

This game comes with a LOT of high quality pieces for a low price for a board game. Most games with this many minis (48!) are $50+. You get mechs, orcs, gladiators, all sorts of guys. The board is also very nice looking, very detailed. The gameplay is easy enough, my 10 year old didn't have an issues following along with me in our first run through. Gather stones, power up, and survive. I REALLY like the game mechanic of pieces of the world (board) falling away as you play. That really makes you

Pros
  • It's a great way to unplug from technology and connect with your loved ones.
Cons
  • Can lead to feelings of inadequacy and inferiority in younger or less experienced players

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Younger kids will enjoy it

Some of the younger kids at our family gatherings love playing games, but were aggravated with the complexity (and length of gameplay) of Risk, Cataan, etc. This game has elements that immediately engaged them: cool playing pieces, an interesting game board layout, and shorter finish. Add to that the fact that there is enough "luck" involved here to ensure that even the less-strategic thinkers might be successful. Thanks to the other reviewers for pointing out the misprinted game card that…

Pros
  • Reign is also great for kids' parties.
Cons
  • Components can be easily lost or damaged

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lots of fun, great quality here!

Let's start with the quality of what's in the box. The board and figures are top notch. They are really nicely done and look great. The game itself is fairly simple to learn, so it is a good introduction to these types of games. We play a lot of strategy games, so we were able to jump right in with ease. The instructions are well done and detailed enough to understand, but not so overly detailed that you get lost in them. The game play itself is very fun. My kids (10 and 12) were even able to…

Pros
  • With easy-to-follow instructions, you can start playing right away.
Cons
  • May require additional purchases of expansion packs to keep gameplay fresh

Played this with group of 9 year old and adults, fun for all!

Fantastic price for such a fun, dynamic game. Has something to enjoy for kids and adults playing together. My child enjoyed it because of how the game physically changed as we played, I enjoyed it for the strategy it takes to try to win. The game cleverly balances out any advantages of a more clever player with random-ish time based limits that affect the game board as well as the roll of the dice and can give less strategically gifted players a fair chance at winning. There is a forced battle…

Pros
  • Unlike digital games, Reign offers a tactile and immersive experience.
Cons
  • Not suitable for players who have limited dexterity or mobility
