I saw them on a YouTube video and was curious to try them. It didn't come with instructions, but it was easy to figure out how to make videos. My hair is very long and I was able to style almost its entire length which was a pleasant surprise. All coils are conveniently stowed in the supplied bag. However, the long stick used to pull through the hair doesn't seem to come apart, at least not easily. It's at least 2 feet long, so storage isn't that convenient. I started with dry hair and used a spray bottle to dampen it before pulling through each section. It seemed to work well and didn't take long to dry and I still had beautiful spiral curls. The larger sections didn't roll as tight. It took a while to finish all my hair but that may have to do with how much hair I have. I was glad I had spare spools so I could make some smaller sections. I think if I'm looking for quick curls this probably won't replace my hot curlers, but if I want to style my curls ahead of time (even the night before as they could probably be slept off with a little styling) I will to these curlers for a less damaging and very beautiful curl.
