They were supplied without instructions. I tried to understand her. I have long hair and I ended up breaking a plastic stick trying to pry them apart. I put one on and it was terribly uncomfortable. I can't keep them for hours. There may be a trick to using them, but the lack of instructions was something of a barrier to understanding.

My sister has a degree in cosmetology and she says there's a trick to getting her hair done. but I still can't get it right. But they make great curls if you do them right.
