When I first tried tie-dye dyes I chose this kit because of the low water consumption. We received this set and another from the same brand in different colors (3 bottles in each set) with the intention of making six XXL t-shirts. This is advertised as "up to 12 shirts" and considering the size of the XXL shirts I figured two sets would be fine. instead of rubber bands) and after the first two t-shirts we realized we were going to run out of them, which we did. The last two shirts received minimal stains. In hindsight, I should have thinned the paint once the realization started and that would have increased the amount of paint we had. The quality of the product is good. The colors in both sets were very good and as expected and as they have not worn off yet I will edit the color fastness comment if it fades quickly. Otherwise, keep in mind that the color will remain the same after washing. They come in small bottles with dispensers. Our pumping fingers got tired after a while; no negative about the product, just an observation. The overspray was a bit difficult to control but with more experience I would be better off with it. This doesn't create the solid blocks of color that some shirts have. Ours shows a lot of white from the shirts, so the tie color is like a painting on a white canvas. It's not bad and we love how they came out, but it wasn't what we were looking for or expecting. You'll be wearing a lot, but next time we'll use ketchup-style bottle paint to saturate the fabric more fully. of these are smaller shirts and can be used on dry shirts.
