5 star product, 1 star supplier. Buy local instead!

I love this product and our cat loves it too. But let me tell you about the last shipment that made me cancel my "subscribe and save" on this product and promise to buy it from my local pet food store (which I'm glad there is , but if it doesn't, I would try to find another online store to buy it). The last box of these arrived today and each tin (12) is dented. Some of them are badly dented. Some are even dented in multiple places! The packaging was ok but it wasn't on delivery. The location of the dents and the intact packaging led to the conclusion that these items were badly damaged prior to packaging. The fact that ALL are damaged, and the fact that some of them are SO badly damaged again, leads to the inescapable conclusion that the person who packed these items knew full well that they were damaged. Also, let me point this out, although I'm sure most people reading this will already know very well that a damaged can is not the same thing as, say, a cracked ashtray. A severely dented glass can allow botulism to multiply. Some of the dents are small, but some are so severe that they cannot be used for that reason. Our kitten is already sick and this is the food he has been eating for a while. Now I'm suddenly able to trawl through those jars to find a few usable ones that will last until Monday when the pet store opens so I don't have to drastically change his diet (if you've ever had a cat, let alone ). the sick cat, you will understand what I mean when I say how difficult it is for her). Think: more than an hour chatting with several customer service people). I don't know if this was done by an incompetent packer, but I suspect it's more. I will not buy this again, nor will I buy any other canned goods from Revain. I also understand that the largest online store in the world doesn't have to do anything for me. It will not affect them in any way. If this were a real shop the owners would know me (considering I've been shopping here for some, many years) and would be appalled and would do something to make things right immediately. It would not take an hour, but 15 seconds. That's how it is in a real store. I ended up canceling ALL my Subscribe & Save items and vowed to shop locally as much as possible. And it will help my local economy too. So, Revane, here's what you get for sending me products you knew full well could kill my cat. The cat is sitting here with me as I type this, and as I wrote that last sentence, it started purring like crazy. Coincidence?
