First I wanted to comment on the packaging of the item. It now comes in a small cardboard box and it's sealed in plastic so it doesn't leak during shipping. I've ordered this from Revain before where it came in a bag and leaked all over the place. I'm so glad they've fixed this.The shampoo itself is really nice. Has a nice scent and lathers well. I don't have to use a lot of product at all to get my hair clean. I use it in conjunction with the conditioner and I feel like it leaves my hair soft.

This shampoo has a nice, pleasant lightly sweet and somewhat fruity fragrance and lathers easily, even in my hard water. It rinses easily from the hair and does not leave a buildup. I had some waxy build up happening from other shampoos that left a heavy, sticky film along the roots and crown of my head that made my hair look oily, dirty, and unmanageable. First, I don't have dry hair or scalp, but they aren't oily either, so I typically use a moisturizing shampoo so my hair doesn't dry out. This Aluram is one of the best I've used. It's lightweight and it smells terrific - it's a mild scent that doesn't overpower, but it's a pleasant, clean scent, which is what I usually look for. Honestly, I just like the way my hair feels when I use this shampoo. Now, son #2 does have dry hair, so I had him start using this shampoo and the results are drastic.

Smells great! And so does everything else in the package it arrived in. The bottle was packaged in a tight plastic but it wasn’t sealed under the cap, so of course it leaked and I lost about a quarter of the contents. Super bummed! Not sure about reordering if this is a common issue.

The ingredients in this shampoo mostly pass the laugh test for not being harmful or dangerous, so that is a good sign.
