Front USB2 ports are back!

I bought a PCI WiFi card for my desktop computer with Bluetooth, but to use BT you need to connect the card to the internal USB connect connector. Since my Lenovo M93 didn't have any free internal USB ports, I was given the choice of either disabling the front USB ports or not using the BT card feature. Enter option 3. The 9-pin TGOOD USB hub worked perfectly. This allowed me to connect the BT function to the card and gave me back my 2 front USB 2 ports. To install I used the method suggested in another review. I turned off the computer, plugged in the splitter board, booted up and let it appear. After the installation was complete, I powered off again, plugged in the front USB port cable, and booted up. Then I turned off and connected the BT cable to the WiFi card, booted back up and everything worked. Now I can use my front USB ports for charging and data transfer and my BT works great. IMPORTANT: That's what I did, if you try to do this without understanding it you may fry your computer. Lenovo and some other manufacturers use 11-pin USB connectors and it is clearly listed as a 9-pin splitter. I've had it work fine with my 11-pin USB port. Lenovo uses these 2 pins for GPIO detection and I didn't connect the pins at all. They are supposed to detect the presence, and it turns out that they are not needed in my configuration, but in some cases their absence can cause the USB ports to be disabled after the system boots. Jumper 2 pins can solve this problem. If none of this makes sense, don't roast your computer if you're listening to me, but for people wondering if this would work with an 11-pin connector, it works great in my case. not clear, use at your own risk and enjoy! I definitely recommend this TGOOD USB 2.0 splitter.
