I use these at the bottom of the laundry room for the top of the washer and dryer. I used to, or still do, grab a rag and use a towel to wipe up loose hair and lint, but I find it much more convenient than a towel because I don't have to worry about getting in the trash. stay with my towels and then wash them. These bristles don't stick to anything easily. A few bristles stick out here and there but so far I am very impressed with the quality of this set. For the price you really can't beat it. What I love about it is that the hand broom part easily snaps onto the dustpan. The scoop has a small loop on the end of the handle so I can hang it on a hook above the washing machine for storage. It doesn't take up any space at all. It probably won't make much of a difference to most people, but what drew me to this set was its neutral brown color. Most of the other brooms and pans I'm used to are neon and brightly colored, which goes against my decorating style. It goes with everything and looks beautiful.
