Review on Household Essentials Spacemaker Single Storage by Rebecca Colon

Great concept, a few functional flaws but good quality overall

Great for those living in a small apartment with limited space! It fits two regular sized towels folded in half, but I actually used it for bath rugs. However, I would argue that this rod is not a good place to hang a towel after use - as two towels touching/overlapping when hanging on the rod this prevents efficient drying. This wand would be much better if one of the prongs were slightly angled to prevent this overlap. I also found that it rotated with the door opening and closing instead of staying in one position, so I had to constantly readjust it to how I wanted it. I've tried using sticky tape as well as glue under the parts that touch the door hinge to prevent movement, but that helped only minimally. If it was just a few inches longer it would fit a regular towel without the need to bend it, but I think the extra length might make the bars weaker. Despite these shortcomings, it's still a great concept. The rod is also of good quality, feels solid and I've had no problems with paint peeling or warping and my towels/bathmat have never fallen off or slipped off.

Pros
  • Towel rail
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
