Review on Hurst 3916030 Billet Plus Short Manual Shifter for Chevrolet Camaro V8/V6 by Matt Bokil

This switch is worth every penny! If you're even thinking of buying this switch, just do it. I installed this switch myself on my 2013 Camaro LT V6. I read some reviews that said it was harder to install in 2013 and that is NOT true. The only difference is the two spring packs that hold the shifter in place. These two spring packs can be removed by stretching the rubber cover under the center console and removing one screw per pack. These springs do not need to be reinstalled, the Hurst rear derailleur works perfectly without them. In general, the installation was a little tedious, I had to crawl under the car, but the result is worth it. I used this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f60YJ50ZNe4 along with instructions and it helped a lot. The results are amazing. Shifting is short and smooth. The lever feels solid. I am very pleased with how this switch has changed the overall driving experience of my Camaro.
