I usually carry a lot of things with me and it rains a lot in Florida. This bag has saved my stuff once before in a very heavy rain - everything else on me was wet but not the stuff inside! I usually carry it in other bags, but it can also be used as a crossbody bag as long as you don't pack too heavy things in it. It folds easily into a relatively slim folded version, making it easy to carry around in other bags when needed. I wanted black but they weren't available at the time, but the camouflage model is also very useful to me at the moment. I am very happy with my bag.
