Very cool solution to a very annoying problem, but the adhesive is not very strong. I use it to hold an HDMI cable to easily connect to my laptop on my desk. It could be complete operator error, but I placed the clamp on the edge of a table, left it there for about an hour before plugging the HDMI connector into it, and it came loose. Maybe I haven't left it long enough? Also, the HDMI cable is quite thick and difficult to twist and connect, so the clamp has adequate back pressure. Logical that he jumped out, but still. Great solution for lighter things, it holds my laptop and phone charger perfectly, very discreet and handy but maybe heavier cables shouldn't be run there.
