I recently decided to redecorate my living room in black and white buffalo plaid. These pillow cases were perfect and in my price range! I ordered one set and they were exactly what I wanted; sturdy, not super soft (soft cotton wasn't what I wanted as I have dogs who are allowed on the couch). I have taken them off and put them back on my pillows a number of times as I have washed them once a week since I got them to help tone down the dog smell that is forever in my apartment. The corner's with the zipper have started to separate from the constant in and out of the inserts but a quick sew job fixed them! I decided one set wasn't enough for my large sectional and ordered another set of 4. I was equally pleased with the second set.However, these pillow cases are 18 by 18 and I ordered 20 by 20 inserts so that they are completely filled and plump since my dogs lay on them and pillows in the past have gone flat without enough stuffing. The first set was PERFECT. When I ordered the second set, I also ordered another set of the same inserts from the first time. When I stuffed the cases, those pillows are significantly less full. I don't know if I should fault the cases for maybe being a little big or the filler pillows for being too small. I don't know, but they're still great and I won't be returning either.
