Overall the finish appears to be good. Works great on my Kawasaki Z1000 front or rear disc brakes, as well as my two Harley-Davidson Sportster FRONT disc discs, but WILL NOT fit my Sportster rear disc - the disc is too thick for that. what to slide on it which was amazing. (Maybe if I ditched the inside of the lock for more clearance? No.) My intended strategy was to use a gas/brake lock to secure the front brake, and then use one of those on the rear brake disc, with that the thief couldn't just lift the front of the bike and walk over to a truck or something to tow it (I've seen videos of this). But since I can't use that on the back of a Sportster I'll just have to use it on the front/rear of a Kawasaki and come up with another solution for Harleys, which is quite a shame. I ordered two identical locks at the same time from the same seller here at Revain and only ONE of the locks came with an elastic reminder cord which was kind of a disappointment. I think I could contact the seller and ask them to send me one, but they are far away in China and the locks will take another month to ship, so I can just order an extra reminder cable separately. from a supplier with 2-day prime shipping. However. The locks work smoothly and easily, not sticky or anything, no fumbling required to unlock them. Installing the lock is easy, just slide it over the side of the rotor until the pin is in the center of the hole in the disc, push the button and click! Did. (Of course, it's a good idea to plug in the reminder cable at the same time, so you don't try to set off with the lock closed and accidentally knock the bike over.) Key, half turn and remove - done! No batteries or anything like that, unlike other locks with those stupid alarms - really, who cares about alarms anyway? All in all a pretty good castle. I just wish both locks came with a reminder cord otherwise I had to wait a long time for them from China. And I'd like it to fit the buttocks of my Sportster, but... well.
