The sleeping bag is basically a sleeping bag, I would describe the jersey-like material as stretchy and soft. Has a light weight which I think helps my baby sleep. I have an 18 pound 6 month old so I ordered a 24 month old so she could carry it for a while and I knew her hands would fit. She loves it. she has plenty of room to grow and i have already bought her a second one so she can have one at home and in the nursery.
