Review on MAGICRIG Universal Side NATO Handle Grip with Cold Shoe Mount for BMPCC 4K /6K Camera Cage - Adjustable Wooden Handle by Anthony Flores

This wooden handle is great! Based on pictures of him on the internet I thought he might be gross but now that I have him he doesn't bother me at all. I paired it with a Smallrig M50 cage (version 2) with a NATO rail. It's set up and working great. Quick release buckle makes it easy to use or remove. The only thing I don't like is the large open slot that runs vertically so it can be adjusted in height. This makes it awkward to hold and I'm sure all similar pens have the same problem. My solution (which works great) was to cut a piece of wetsuit-like rubber to cover the hole on the sides of the handle. Of course it has to be easily removed if I need to adjust the horizontal NATO adapter in the handle, but I doubt I'll ever be able to move it as the entire handle slides over the cage itself. For 1/2 the cost of a similar product I am at least 200% satisfied!
