I've had so many different medical tapes put on my skin in my life. I started being so scared of duct tape because I had a bad rash, my hair was being pulled out of my skin, my skin was almost bleeding, the thick glue stuck to my skin for weeks, basically all the negative side effects. what someone could get from a medical tape. This 3m silicone band is the ONLY band I have used that prevents unwanted side effects and pain. It is excellent for attaching bandages to skin that does not move. For example, if you are bandaging a flat part of your leg, arm, chest, or back, this bandage works great. If you try to use it on skin that moves, like fingers, feet, neck, etc., you will find that it starts to loosen. It also weakens when you sweat excessively. The adhesive on the tape will withstand light perspiration, but heavy perspiration will begin to peel off. Three years Other interesting things about this tape is that you don't need to use scissors, you can just tear it off with your hands2. You can peel off this tape and then stick it on your skin and it will stick again. When this tape is removed, no sticky residue is left on the skin. Don't be put off by the high price of this band. It's expensive compared to other non-silicone bands that have side effects, but it's worth the extra money for no more pain. This is a 5 star product and I would definitely recommend it.
