I started with Hostens for my blog (the first website I ever built). It was very easy to set up and I liked the design of the site. The layout, colors, and fonts were all great. One thing that I noticed when I got the domain from another hoster was that they used some sort of "cookie-cutter" template which made it feel like everything was "meant to be there". Like, why would you have a contact form if you're just going to copy/paste info from the same page? That's how I felt about a lot of things too! You can't use your own logo or image. It has to be pre-made by them. They don't offer many freebies or upgrades. I had to pay for them to put extra RAM in my server because my blog grew so large. I also had to pay for them to migrate me over to their.
