I don't have much experience with grinders but I used to have a much larger (and more powerful) 7 inch grinder and my biggest complaint about it was that it was too big. It was heavy, very difficult to maneuver in a confined space, and so powerful that too much material was removed almost immediately. This little grinder solves all those problems. It's very easy to maneuver in fairly tight spots. In addition, it is lightweight, so the user does not get tired. It's a pleasure to use! The supplied accessories are perfectly stored in the supplied, well-folded case. I like that all my accessories like spindle keys, removable guard and various discs are kept in one handy case so I don't have to look for them every time I need the grinder. The quality of the tool body, power cord, spindle and spindle key, and grinding wheels is very high and shows that the Makita brand is proud of their product. Grinding wheel guard is a bit wobbly, made of stamped metal, but definitely sufficient and light ADVANTAGES: high-quality materials and workmanship, small, agile, low weight, accessories, storage case DISADVANTAGES: possibly too small for large concrete or tile work
