I taped my lamps around to test them out before installing them on my new vanity and I'm so glad I did. It seems her role is mostly hit or miss, and mine was a failure. There was a slight buzz when turning it on, and looking through the settings I found that some of them weren't working. The cool tone settings had 5 levels of brightness, but when I tried the two warmest tone settings, the 4th and 5th brightest settings didn't work. The lights only flashed brightly once and stayed on level 3. My mirror is tall and wide, so not being able to use the brightest settings was a deal breaker. If all the settings worked, then everything would probably be fine. but I returned them and bought another set to try.
