Anti-glare and privacy features work as advertised. At a viewing angle of about 45 degrees or more, only a black screen is visible. When viewed directly, the colors appear slightly muted. Installation is very easy, but the lid seems to move down the screen (whether in landscape or portrait) instead of staying in the same place as I expected. I also see slight color distortions that can be caused by air bubbles. The touchscreen is less responsive/accurate/sensitive and the Surface Pro Pen is a bit sticky which means it doesn't slip either. However, the biggest disappointment for me is that the lid completely blocks the magnetic function of the Surface Pro Signature Type lid. The keyboard is no longer held when closing it as a protective cover or when trying to use it as a tilt/raised keyboard. This is very frustrating and defeats the purpose of Type Cover. Consequently, I wouldn't buy this again unless anti-glare and some privacy features were a top (maybe only) priority.
