Here's the big fact: it's MADE IN CHINA! This should tell you everything you need to know. Most (if not all) fabrics are made in India or elsewhere. China is NOT a major source or producer of textiles. These sheets are by no means 800 thread count! China cannot produce something like this remotely. These sheets feel as rough as a raincoat. Terribly terrible, bad product! Our old 200 thread sheets are much softer and better than these 800 threads. I've tried washing them a few times and they're still very rough. Very uncomfortable. I would never have bought them if I knew they were made in China. Personally they can't cost $85, maybe $20 (best guess). Recommendation: DO NOT BUY, for whatever reason, hands off these sheets!
