This is a good projector, like any other holiday lighting projector, does a great job of throwing stars. The projection of the icon is not very bright and very blurry. I was hoping for clearer pictures. It's not because I'm projecting far, it happens up close too. Something that filters the icon projection lets in too much background light, making images on the Apple 2 Green Screen look like faded images, with the green glow leaking out across the entire screen. Sturdy, it's a large, durable metal with a remote control. First it was on my deck and it fell about 3 feet onto the bricks several times and had no damage. Note that the image projection was fuzzy before it was repeatedly discarded. ;) I've now zipped it to the deck rail and it works great.
