The size chart states that size XL has 4.33" palm width and 3.15" middle finger length. My palm is 3.75 inches wide and the XL glove fits snugly. 8 inches is too long for a glove. But even if the fingers of the glove aren't long enough, you can still use it, so I keep it to myself. A good size, the design/colours are as shown and they are warm. And it can be pressed against both the base of the palm and the end of the glove (which helps prevent snow from getting in).
