malfunction? suitable for oral care

I've only used this toothbrush twice but I don't think it's working properly. At the slightest pressure, the brush stops rotating. I tested it with my finger and as soon as it touches it stops spinning. I had my last Oral B long before it started. So I threw this one away and ordered a new one! Now this one does it instantly! I'm very disappointed but will be sending it back.
