I've only used this toothbrush twice but I don't think it's working properly. At the slightest pressure, the brush stops rotating. I tested it with my finger and as soon as it touches it stops spinning. I had my last Oral B long before it started. So I threw this one away and ordered a new one! Now this one does it instantly! I love this brush, it lasts so long to be honest I don't even know it needs to be charged. I will say that there is a small flaw in the design of these and other electronic brushes, and it affects the bass. This will hold water and mold will appear after a day or two. I clean mine regularly, but it seems to be more of a challenge cleaning the base than it should be if they had built some sort of drainage or not made it concave. I love that the toothbrush head is compact - since my dental surgery last year I've had a hard time finding a toothbrush that doesn't hurt my mouth - perfect! I like the fact that it lets me know how long I'm brushing based on the pulses it sends out! Like many reviewers, I had an older version over 15 years old, Braun Oral B, which just died! In this age of disposable items, this brand really shines. Anyway, I like this one a lot.
