My daughter almost lives in it. For the price and purpose, this is a beautiful and functional shoe that will give you plenty of time to wear. If your kid isn't like mine, you'll have no problem with these shoes. They are amazing! My daughter tries to treat them like tennis shoes, including walking in them. So all we have to do is rule these shoes out and fix them to last a few months (we're on our fourth pair). She can't walk on grass or mud (these aren't tennis shoes). And she can't wear them to school because they scratch other kids just by shaking them. The jewelry can be sharp. The teacher forbade them to go to school. She has to buy pliers for the soles of her shoes, which she wipes regularly because the soles are slippery and her daughter walks a lot on them. She slipped into them in the auditorium on the hall floor. They are also NOT designed to last. Again, these are not tennis shoes, but shoes for special occasions. But if your daughter is like mine and lives in it, walks in it and treats it like tennis shoes, you might want to invest in a good elastic glue or JB Weld, reinforce the jewelry and maybe file down the sharp edges before you let her wear them.
