My hands are medium to large in circumference but my fingers are a bit short. Because of this I rarely find gloves that fit me, but although the fit of these gloves is odd. I received them in XL which was an ordering error on my part; I usually order medium sized gloves. So it's no wonder that my fingers are too long. But in the tightness around my arms, they snuggle up to me. If I ordered a medium I don't think I could fit in them. Also, these gloves are pretty tough; It takes a real effort to close your hand in it. Maybe it's because they're very well insulated, but I can't talk about that without waiting for sub-zero temperatures.
