This keyboard is worth every penny. Mine was wrapped in the original plastic case to protect the keyboard itself. The keyboard looks like new, no signs of wear, just fantastic. The keyboard works perfectly with my iPad 8 and there is no lag between keystrokes and the iPad. It's so simple, it connects magnetically to the side and stays in place unless you pull to separate the keyboard and iPad. Overall best buy. Apple creates quality, not quantity.
