feeder works great I was a bit concerned as it seemed cheap and there were no reviews but I was very pleased. My son was in the hospital so I was rarely home except in the middle of the night to get some clothes. It's not super heavy, but if you're across the room you can hear it and it will take you some time to get used to the unusual sound for the house. or twice a day. The way my tank is set up, I had to leave the lid open to hang it (with a small plastic clip for hanging, works well). . I was very happy, especially with my busy schedule with a toddler, a sick baby, and a full-time job. (I know I seem too busy to take care of the animals, but we had fish before the kids and work.)
