I'll give my short first review below. I was contacted by a DBPOWER customer service representative. The representative was concerned about my experience with the keyboard I bought and wanted to ship it to me because of the DOA which I was sending back. The company seems concerned about the brand, and we looked at around 12 emails discussing the keyboard. I was impressed because it's from a brand I've never heard of and the keyboard didn't have many reviews at the time of my original purchase. That's great. So I'm typing to you on my new keyboard, and as I was hoping, this keyboard has everything I need and want. I bought this because my first generation Coolermaster Devastator was starting to fail. due to use (and abuse) over many years of gaming and general use. I needed a backlit keyboard with membrane switches for a relatively quiet sound and a similar input key layout. This keyboard meets all these requirements. What I wanted from the keyboard was more color options, and I wanted it to look like the keyboard on the old Dell school computers I learned to type on. This keyboard fulfills both wishes. The keyboard has breathing and light level functions, and these are hardware functions. I can connect a keyboard to each and use the basic functions. The downside is that the keyboard doesn't remember saved lighting settings. You have to adjust the lighting every time. However, my Coolermaster Devastator is the same, so it's not a problem for me. There are 3 colors, red, blue and purple, and 5 light brightness settings, except off, for each color. TL:DR Received a defective product. RMA, then customer service sent me a new one. The company needs a good image and satisfied customers. The keyboard is ideal as a basic membrane keyboard with backlight. I am satisfied and will most likely purchase products from this company to meet my needs in the future. First rating with 3 stars. DOAPreturn process was painless.
