Review on Barcoding Voice Picking by Craig Rossman

The most impressive thing about BVP is that it's not perfect -- there are times when you have to get up close with items just in order for them read correctly because they're too far back from my face (I'm 6'4"). Sometimes I can't see what part of an item has been picked off even though every other picker around me picks perfectly fine - so this definitely needs work! However overall we've seen huge improvements since implementing barcodes into our operations at least twice per week instead of using manual voice commands over & past each box/item as needed before packing / sending out etc..
